TRENDY
Trendy is a feature film written and directed by Louis.
It’s a social thriller set in East London. It tells the story of Richard, a young teacher starting fresh in the big city. As he struggles to find his place in a gentrifying area, his past demons come back to haunt him and unleash his violent behaviour.
The script of Trendy won the Live Script Reading Award at the British Urban Film Festival. The film was selected at Raindance Film Festival 2017 and was released in 2018 in the UK. It was distributed by Alarm Pictures and released on Sky Cinema, HBO Europe, Amazon Prime Video and MUBI.
